What is EnviroTrack®?
Take a look at your latest electricity or gas bill. Some bills can be hard to decipher, and even those that are well laid out are not particularly useful as an energy management tool. Typically it will contain information on number of units consumed, price per unit, Climate Change Levy charge amount, Climate Change Levy discount value (if applicable) and total bill for the period. From a bill it is impossible to identify consumption by the day, hour or particular machine.
This is why Pro Enviro has developed the EnviroTrack®, a powerful tool which can be used to easily analyse consumption. Through a short briefing by a Pro Enviro consultant, you will quickly learn the necessary interpretation skills which allow you to easily identify consumption patterns.
An EnviroTrack® turns a very large volume of half-hourly consumption data into a highly-visual chart so that trends can be quickly identified. Upon login into the Members Area you will be able to view your company’s EnviroTrack® charts from 1st January 2007 until present.
Each EnviroTrack® chart displays 3 months of electricity consumption data. The colours on the chart represent the kW demand at any one time in kW, with white demonstrating periods of low usage and red periods of high usage. The EnviroTrack® charts are particularity useful for enabling the easy identification of out of hours consumption, abnormal patterns of consumption, and wasteful consumption.
In the Members Area you can also access a number of charts which can be further used to analyse your consumption patterns and so identify areas of waste:
- Percentage of Total kWhr by day of the week (pie-chart)
- Total kWhr by day of the week (scatter graph)
- Energy Consumption during Christmas Holiday period (line graph)
- Year To Date Electricity Consumption in kWh (line graph)
- Power Factor Charts (where applicable)
Through participation in the Resource Efficiency networks we will facilitate you to both identify areas of wasteful consumption and empower you to reduce this consumption through embedding the necessary skills in your company through visits from our consultants and online training tools.
